This coming weekend, July 3-5 2010, it’s time for KSSS Sandhamn Race Week in Stockholm. Not less than six Farr 30s will meet on the starting line and for the first time in Scandinavia, the Farr 30 class has it’s own One Design Class in the Offshore part. It will be 3 days of intense racing with 7 W/L courses plus a 6 hour coastal race.

- To get a turnout of 100% of the Swedish Farr 30 fleet at this regatta is fantastic, says Patrick Lindblom (SWE), the Farr 30 Scandinavian fleet captain. And although we had hoped for a few guests from neighboring countries we must realize that only four years ago there were no Farr 30s in Scandinavia at all and now all of a sudden we have over 10 boats in the Nordic countries and 20-25 with Russia/St Petersburg, the Netherlands and Germany. We certainly have interesting times ahead!

Watch this space for updates from the regatta and a report.

Great stuff, nice going!

Looking forward to watch 6 F30s having a ball outside sandhamn.
